About The Position

GST is seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our Finance team. This role is responsible for accurate revenue posting, payment processing, account reconciliation, and collections activity while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with company standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience, preferably in a fast‑paced business environment
Experience with ERP or accounting systems required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to meet daily and monthly time‑sensitive deadlines
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team‑oriented mindset
Ability to manage collections conversations professionally and diplomatically

NetSuite experience preferred

Responsibilities

Record and post customer payments, including electronic funds transfers (EFT), checks, and credit card transactions
Ensure accuracy and reconciliation with bank records
Validate order information and convert sales transactions into accurate customer invoices
Distribute invoices to customers on a daily basis
Research, analyze, and resolve account discrepancies
Collaborate with Sales, internal departments, and customers to ensure accurate resolution
Monitor customer accounts and review payment histories and credit terms
Proactively follow up on overdue balances through reminders and direct customer communication
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly recorded and balances are accurate
Assist with annual audits
Respond to bank audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed
Maintain strict confidentiality of financial records
Uphold GST's internal controls, policies, and compliance standards
