About The Position

We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist that supports day-to-day accounting operations by performing moderately complex accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with established procedures. This role serves as a key contributor to the accuracy and efficiency of the accounting function.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2–4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience with accounting systems
Experience in a professional services environment
Ability to independently manage assigned accounting processes

Responsibilities

Process and maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions
Prepare routine journal entries and assist with account reconciliations
Support month-end close activities and financial reporting processes
Monitor and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account balances
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
Assist with audit preparation by gathering documentation and responding to requests
Support compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information
