We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will provide essential support to our accounting department, helping to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient with accounting and billing software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of accounts receivable tasks including researching discrepancies, collections, and processing incoming payments.
  • Assist in the management of accounts payable tasks including entry of vendor invoices, preparation of checks and wires, and ensuring proper documentation from both internal and external sources.
  • Assist the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Enter and maintain organized and up-to-date financial records both within and outside of the accounting software.
  • All other duties assigned.
