Requirements

Three to five years of accounting work experience, preferably with a medium-to-large-sized (over 100 employees) company preferred.
Associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience with escrow, title accounting systems and/or prior banking experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Confirm and coordinate outgoing wires on WMA and online banking.
Coordinate escrow fund transfers between files.
Assist escrow teams with SPS and bank related activities.
Assist escrow teams with processing of escrow loss requests.
Assist with bank disbursements and approvals.
Assist with recording fee checks and billing worksheets.
Create group deposits for all Branches
Run and upload daily reports.
Communicate with bank representatives for escrow transactions.
Prepare daily bank deposits.
Recording payments and invoices.
Identify and assist in suggesting/implementing changes to the Escrow/Title operations systems for constant improvement.
Assist with decisions and problem-solving regarding escrow accounting.
Works individually and as an active team member helping to achieve department goals.
