About The Position

The Senior Manager, Shared Services is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Company's Shared Services function, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across all MBI brands. This role is responsible for delivering efficient, scalable, and well-controlled transaction processing while driving continuous process improvement, automation, and service excellence. The Senior Manager will lead a high-performing team, oversee key financial processes, leverage robotic process automation (RPA) and other technology solutions to optimize operations, and partner with business leaders to deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in Shared Services, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or related accounting operations, preferably within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Previous leadership experience managing and developing accounting or shared services teams.
  • Experience leading process improvement, automation, or digital transformation initiatives within finance operations.
  • Working knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions; experience supporting or managing automated AP processes is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills with a focus on process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • BS in Finance, Accounting, Finance or Economics degree required.
  • Excellent spreadsheet and financial analysis skills; using if-then statements, macros, pivot tables and dashboards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with independent judgment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Capable of handling multiple database systems and complex data compilation
  • Excellent Finance, forecasting and analysis skills
  • Results-oriented contributor must demonstrate business acumen and resourcefulness

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a public company environment and familiarity with internal controls and SOX compliance is preferred.
  • Experience with Blue Prism or similar automation platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Great Plains, AS400, Infor, or similar enterprise applications is preferred.
  • MBA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the Shared Services organization, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across all MBI brands.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of supplier payments, customer invoicing, cash application, and related financial transactions.
  • Oversee automated Accounts Payable processes utilizing Robotic Process Automation (RPA), monitor bot performance, manage exceptions, and identify opportunities to expand automation and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure performance, optimize resources, and support continuous improvement.
  • Review and approve key transactional activities, including payment runs, ACH and wire releases, vendor invoices, and dealer invoicing, while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Drive process improvements by standardizing workflows, implementing technology-enabled solutions, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for supplier, dealer, and customer inquiries, resolving complex transactional issues in a timely manner.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining strong process controls and coordinating audit requests and documentation.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the Shared Services team through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and cross-training initiatives.
  • Recommend and implement policies, procedures, and system enhancements that strengthen controls, improve operational performance, and support business objectives.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
