This role involves assisting local teams in problem resolution and escalation to ensure accurate financial reporting. The position requires answering accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data, including working directly with subsidiary accounting departments. The supervisor will ensure adherence to corporate accounting policy and procedures, participate in the month-end close process for timely and accurate reporting, and assist in standardizing/transitioning accounting functions to a shared service center by creating SOPs. Additionally, the role is responsible for maintaining and following all accounting-related SOX documentation, integrating newly acquired properties for all accounting areas (vendors, AP, accounting), and supporting other accounting needs as required. Other duties may be assigned.
