About The Position
Join the team at The Blue Barn for a high-energy seasonal position during the Minnesota State Fair! We are seeking a detail-oriented, numbers-minded individual to manage back-of-house cash flow, inventory access, and daily reporting.
Requirements
- Strong background or interest in accounting, finance, or detailed administrative work.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong basic math skills.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and physically navigate a single-level ladder.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and available to work flexible hours during the Fair's run.
Responsibilities
- Accurately reconcile cash drawers, manage change funds, and prepare daily bank deposits.
- Run, analyze, and organize end-of-day sales and POS reports to track revenue and inventory metrics.
- Safely climb a single-flight ladder to access upper-level storage for auditing inventory or retrieving essential supplies.
- Ensure precise record-keeping in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
