About The Position

Clarion Security LLC is seeking Temporary Unarmed Security Officers to provide security coverage during the Delta State Fair. This is a short-term assignment, approximately 2-3 weeks in duration, with the potential for permanent employment based on business needs, performance, attendance, and available openings. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring entrances and exits, identifying and reporting suspicious activity, responding to incidents, and completing incident reports. Officers will also provide professional customer service to guests, staff, and vendors.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED
Must be dependable and professional
Must pass required background screening
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for Mobile Patrol assignments
Stand and walk for extended periods of time
Walk long distances throughout the fairgrounds
Remain on their feet for most of the assigned shift
Frequently walk, patrol, and move between assigned areas
Navigate uneven outdoor surfaces, stairs, and crowded areas
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Respond quickly to incidents when necessary
Perform duties while wearing the required security uniform and equipment
