About The Position

Transdev in Rosenberg, Texas is hiring an Accounting/Payroll Clerk. The Accounting/Payroll Clerk assists the Assistant General Manager in all aspects of the daily payroll functions. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: This Position is NOT included in the Collective Bargaining Unit: Non-CBA Position: Competitive compensation package of minimum $19.50 – Maximum $24.25 per hour. Benefits include: Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks /10 days paid Holidays: 8 days Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment.
  • Computer literacy, 10 Key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Process new employee files & records and submit them to the Assistant General Manager for approval; submit appropriate paperwork to the regional accounting office.
  • Calculate & input driver & staff payroll / vacation into system for processing.
  • Track attendance for full/part-time employees.
  • Responsible for fare reconciliation & deposits.
  • Responsible for Trip Edit Auditing
  • Assist General Manager in accurately tracking overtime to reduce and eliminate unnecessary and/or additional punch hours.
  • Other duties as required.
