Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in payroll or accounting is a plus
Proven experience as a payroll clerk, payroll specialist, or similar role
Familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds and MS Office, especially Excel
Strong understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Process employee payroll accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data and wage changes
Calculate and process deductions, overtime, bonuses, and commissions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Prepare payroll reports and documentation for management and auditing purposes
Collaborate with Office Manager as needed
Respond to employee payroll inquiries with confidentiality and professionalism
