About The Position

As a clerical employee in a distribution facility, you’ll work quick, safely, and efficiently to accurately process multiple tasks within the distribution center to ensure our customers are able to receive the merchandise ordered in a timely fashion. You’ll assist in processing paperwork, invoices, and reports for your respective area of responsibility. You’ll do this while working with partners in clerical, supervision, managers, and warehouse associates. You’ll also perform other clerical assignments as necessary within the office. The ability to work as a team member rather than an individual is imperative. You will work independently managing and prioritizing multiple responsibilities and tasks, and work in collaboration with external partners and vendors to quickly resolve problems. It is expected you report to work on time and have exemplary attendance to complete job tasks assigned and on time to contribute to the overall distribution center results.

Requirements

  • Office experience preferred
  • 2 year College Degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Data Entry and Typing Skills
  • Excellent team work and interpersonal skills
  • Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance is a requirement for this position
  • Job duties may change at any time due to business needs

Responsibilities

  • Ability to Work Flexible Hours when needed.
  • Willing to cross train and be flexible within an office environment
  • Create spreadsheet and databases that support the distribution center functions.
  • Reconcile inbound shipments
  • Understand payroll
  • Input quality errors
  • Perform inventory movements
  • Check daily warehouse activity logs
  • Perform any additional other assigned duties
  • Willing to learn additional computer programs.
  • Communicate verbally, and by email, skype, Microsoft teams, and other communication platforms
  • Ability to learn and use internet based programs
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
  • Cross train and support clerical partners, such as (shipping, receiving, payroll, inventory, accounts payable, order scheduling etc.)
  • Able to exhibit effective oral and written communication skills
  • Work flexible hours and overtime if necessary
