About The Position

The Accounting Office Assistant is a team-oriented support role within the Accounting Department. This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical assistance to ensure the efficient operation of the department. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage responsibilities effectively in a dynamic environment with periodic interruptions.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to remain focused and productive despite periodic interruptions
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and team-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to members of the Accounting Department
  • Assist with data entry, filing, document organization, and record maintenance
  • Prepare and distribute internal correspondence and reports as needed
  • Support accounts payable/receivable processes as directed
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information
  • Respond to internal inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
