Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Experience with cash management and a strong understanding of Quickbooks.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with excellent communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience

Nice To Haves

• Strong proficiency in accounting and financial modeling.
• Experience in managing complex financial tasks and compliance issues.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile multiple bank accounts and manage merchant account reconciliation and issues, ensuring PCI compliance.
• Provide comprehensive accounting support to various departments including billing and collections, marketing and sales, call center, and clinical operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
• Assist with the monthly close process and the production of accurate financial statements.
• Play a pivotal role in the financial aspects of launching new markets.
• Collaborate with the insurance claims team on claims funds reconciliation.
• Oversee the management of petty cash and cash deposits in coordination with surgery managers.
• Handle intercompany transfers, funding sheets, equipment asset accounts, and loans.
• Take responsibility for annual tasks such as preparing 1099’s and managing unclaimed property.
