We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role will manage core accounting processes, maintain internal controls, and support strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with leadership skills and a proactive approach to process improvement. Requirements

5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
CPA or equivalent certification
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems, with preference for Sage Intacct
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Prior public accounting or Big Four experience
Experience in a high-growth startup or venture backed companies
Experience in B2B SaaS and/or AI industry
Experience supporting audits, investor reporting, or fundraising diligence
Experience with international or multinational environment

Responsibilities

Own the day-to-day accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management.
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable accounting standards.
Establish and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and financial policies to support a scaling startup.
Implement and optimize accounting systems, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and reporting.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and insights.
Monitor key financial metrics and analyze variances to help leadership understand company performance.
Partner with leadership and operational teams to ensure financial processes align with business needs.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory partners for audits, filings, and compliance.
