We're looking for an Accounting Manager who enjoys bringing order to complexity, solving problems, and helping a growing business run smoothly behind the scenes. You'll work closely with sales, operations, fulfillment, customers, and vendors to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and actionable. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of accounting experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliations.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of BOM roll-ups and cost absorption from raw materials through finished goods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoices and weekly payment processing.
  • Create and manage customer invoices and apply customer payments accurately and timely.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and partner with internal teams to support collections efforts.
  • Process cash applications across multiple payment methods including checks, ACH, credit cards, and wire transfers.
  • Record and maintain banking activity within the accounting system.
  • Prepare and file quarterly Sales & Use Tax returns.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and support month-end close activities.
  • Prepare and record journal entries and financial adjustments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting and operational workflows.
  • Recommend and implement best practices that increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Help ensure financial information supports informed business decisions.
  • Collaborate across departments to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate financial information clearly and professionally.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for accounting-related questions and support.
