About The Position

We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager who combines strong accounting skills with sound judgment and a business mindset. You'll oversee core accounting functions, support reporting across our growing network of dental practices, and help turn financial results into meaningful business insight.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to connect financial results to business operations.
Strong Excel and accounting/ERP system skills.
Excellent attention to detail, judgment, organization, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

CPA or CMA certification.
Prior accounting leadership experience.
Experience in dental, healthcare, or another multi-location organization.
Experience with Sage Intacct, acquisitions, budgeting, forecasting, or financial modeling.

Responsibilities

Own month-end close, reconciliations, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
Review and support payroll processing and related accounting.
Manage and develop the Staff Accountant.
Analyze financial results, investigate trends and variances, and communicate meaningful insights to leadership.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Partner with Operations, HR, and Revenue Cycle teams.
Oversee provider compensation and related reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Support audits, internal controls, and financial integration of acquired practices and new locations.
Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate accounting processes.
