About The Position

Freeman Mathis and Gary, LLP is a rapidly growing, national specialty litigation firm seeking an Accounting Manager in our Atlanta office. The FMG Accounting Manager role is responsible for supporting the FMG accounting function and reports directly to the Assistant Controller. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the high-volume expense tracking and other related financial activities. This is a 100% in office position and remote work is not available.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degree program required
  • Financial statement experience (both preparation and analysis)
  • Management experience 3+ years

  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with a track record of trustworthiness
  • Proven ability to maintain a calm, courteous and professional demeanor at all times, with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Review Expense Report coding and process
  • Review Purchase Card coding and process
  • Maintain and monitor company contracts and subscriptions
  • Various Reconciliations
  • Various monthly and annual reports
  • Various month end and year end processes
  • Assist with annual audit
  • Documentation of financial processes
  • Manage a staff of accounting specialists
  • Additional duties as assigned
