This is a hands-on accounting manager position responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of a multi-project construction company. The role involves building and enforcing financial systems, managing the books, owning the monthly close process, and serving as the financial liaison between the field and leadership. The position requires full-cycle Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable management, including entry, approval routing, payment runs, and collections follow-up. Key responsibilities include monthly close by the 10th, job cost tracking in Procore and QuickBooks Online (including committed costs, budget-to-actual analysis, and variance flagging), maintaining a Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedule, overseeing subcontractor billing (lien waivers, compliance documents, Adaptive intake), coordinating payroll processing with Workforce and allocating labor costs, tracking owner draws, reimbursements, and officer compensation, preparing 1099s and ensuring vendor compliance, and providing monthly cash flow visibility through AR aging, AP aging, and a 13-week cash view. The role also includes supporting audits with clean files and documented entries, and owning the data integrity of the Procore, Adaptive, and QBO pipeline. The core function of this role is to protect CRC's margin integrity, cash position, and the reliability of financial decisions made by leadership, ensuring the company meets its revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
