Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or business related field, required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience; nonprofit experience strongly preferred
Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
A collaborative spirit and passion for mission‑focused work

Responsibilities

Manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations, including oversight of AP/AR, purchasing and payroll
Responsible for general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation for month-end and year-end close
Prepare monthly financial statements plus annual operating and capital budgets
Lead the annual audit and oversee the preparation of the Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR)
Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, grants, and regulatory requirements
Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve financial processes
Partner with leadership to support strategic decision‑making
Supervise 4 accounting staff and support the Chief Financial Officer
