About The Position

Responsible for overseeing and directing all accounting department functions. Oversees and prepares financial reports, review and reconciles data, prepares entries and adjustments, and participates in the development of specialized financial data. Provides management with information necessary for decision-making. Responsible for supervision, scheduling, training, and development of Accounting Supervisor and Staff Accountants to include hiring, discipline, and termination. Assists and performs as back up to the Vice President of Accounting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or an equivalent combination of experience and training
Three or more years of accounting and related supervisory experience preferred
Technical knowledge of concepts, practices, procedures, and financial reports
Understanding of related regulations, statutes, and filing requirements
Well-organized and attentive to detail
