About The Position

The Accounting team is responsible for building and operating the financial foundation of a global digital-asset and payments platform. We partner closely with Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, and Operations to support a rapidly scaling business that spans multiple international entities, regulated payment flows, and both stablecoins and other digital assets. Our role is to support growth while ensuring the company is built on a strong, scalable foundation—enabling new products and global expansion while maintaining high standards for accuracy, controls, and transparency. As the business evolves, the team plays a critical role in bringing clarity, structure, and confidence to complex financial and operational decisions, helping ensure the company is well positioned for its next phase of growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant accounting experience
  • Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements across LATAM, EMEA, and APAC
  • Proven ability to build automated processes for large datasets and complex reconciliations
  • Experience leveraging AI for process automation, technical research, and memo preparation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in a remote-first, high-growth environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Ramp, Zip, FloQast, or similar platforms
  • Background in regulated industries — financial services, payments, or technology
  • Big 4 experience and/or CPA designation

Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and operational teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and support key business initiatives
  • Research, document, and present technical accounting positions; own resolution of critical issues with external auditors
  • Maintain accounting policies and procedures, partnering with stakeholders to operationalize them across the business
  • Build scalable reconciliation frameworks supporting the month-end close, external audit, and regulatory requirements
  • Support the review of consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting for international subsidiaries
  • Prepare GAAP financial statements for year-end audit and analyze revenue contracts for compliance with ASC 606
  • Drive automation and efficiency improvements across manual close processes
  • Communicate financial results clearly to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of accountants in a collaborative environment
