About The Position
With all the numbers and forecasts and spreadsheets flying around the accounting department every day, we need someone to manage all day-to-day activities. As the Accounting Manager, you’ll be responsible for educating associates on corporate policy, reviewing the work of accounting associates, and much more.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or a similar field.
- At least 1 year of experience in hotel accounting/finance.
- Basic experience using Excel Spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate directives and guidance positively and professionally to your department.
Nice To Haves
- Lightspeed and PEP PMS System experience
Responsibilities
- Communicate and train properties on Accounting Procedures.
- Verify the accuracy of night audit work through Excel spreadsheets and web-based applications.
- Assist properties in the reconciliation and billing of city ledger accounts.
- Trace all credit card /cash deposits from PMS system to each bank account on a daily basis. Research any missing deposits or shortages.
