Accounting Manager, CEC
About The Position
The Accounting Manager is responsible for all accounting requirements within the CEC. This role demands a strong commitment to task completion and delivering solutions to clients and vendors. The position involves managing daily AP and AR operations, reviewing customized client reporting, resolving invoice discrepancies, managing AR collections, assisting with payment application reconciliations, monitoring Oracle account setups, reviewing monthly pricing for National and NSC accounts, preparing revenue accruals, managing cash applications, handling customer portals for uploads, and assisting with auditor requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting field
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Strong organizational skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills necessary
- Strong skills and vast experience in use of Excel
- Able to meet deadlines with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Responsibilities
- Manages and oversees the daily operations relating to AP and AR for clients, vendors and DAR PRO Solutions
- Reviews customized Reporting required by clients
- Researches and works to resolve invoice discrepancies with Vendors
- Manages AR collections
- Assists team with reconcile of payment applications
- Works closely with Darling facilities monitoring the CEC account setups in oracle
- Reviews monthly pricing for National and NSC accounts
- Prepares Revenue Accruals
- Manages and review of cash applications for National and NSC accounts
- Manages customer portals for Invoice and data uploads
- Assists in requests from both internal and external auditors
- Other duties as assigned
