About The Position

Nimbl provides essential business departments like accounting, IT, global staffing, and strategy under one roof to help growing companies scale without friction. With over 100 team members across the U.S., Philippines, and Latin America, Nimbl operates as an aligned team serving ambitious business owners. The company offers remote flexibility, autonomy, clear accountability, leadership development, and opportunities for growth. Freedom at Nimbl is defined by progression and impact, appealing to individuals serious about growth for both clients and themselves. The Accounting Manager acts as the quarterback for a client portfolio, balancing relationship ownership, month-end close leadership, and process building. This role involves overseeing the monthly close process from start to finish for a group of small business clients, serving as the primary point of contact for financial results. The manager is supported by Accounting Specialists who handle delegated bookkeeping tasks. Key responsibilities include creating and documenting workflows, training specialists, ensuring efficient and timely work completion, and performing reviews of bookkeeping and reconciliations. The role also involves completing tasks that cannot be delegated, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements, and delivering client-ready financials. This is a client-facing role focused on accountants who enjoy people and accountability, requiring clear communication, strong follow-through, and reliable delivery while managing client expectations, scope, and time budgets. It is not an AR, collections, or credit management position.
