Our client has a need for an Accounting Manager to support foreign currency, intercompany investments, and legal entity restructuring for a long-term consulting engagement. This role involves preparing monthly and quarterly CTA analysis, assisting with functional currency determination and documentation for international legal entities, and preparing monthly and quarterly journal entries for certain international legal entities. The manager will also assist with foreign currency adjustments during month-end close and support International Accounting leaders and international business finance teams with accounting for non-routine transactions such as divestitures, liquidations, acquisitions, and intercompany restructurings. Responsibilities include preparing and assisting international businesses with the necessary journal entries for non-routine transactions. The role also entails participating in balance sheet reviews for international locations to ensure compliance with financial policies and U.S. GAAP, and working directly with external and internal auditors on U.S. GAAP accounting matters for certain international locations. Additionally, the manager will assist in the preparation of various footnote disclosures for compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules for quarterly and annual reporting, participate in the IFRS conversion process for certain legal entities, and assist and oversee the accounting for goodwill and intangible assets on a monthly and quarterly basis, including annual impairment testing.
