About The Position

Schneider Electric has a hybrid opportunity (2-3 days a week from the office) for an Accounting Manager in Franklin, TN, but is also open to other locations such as Boston, MA, Dallas, TX, or Westmont, IL. In this opportunity, you will have flexibility and local support with high visibility to many different business units, while overseeing a $10B+ scope. You will collaborate with different stakeholders across the Finance organization and establish procedures and controls to ensure adherence to IFRS accounting standards and company policies and procedures. You will ensure that all financial statements are reported timely to the Parent Company. You will be responsible for accuracy, timelines, and the general integrity of the accounting function and related reports. Ability to influence, collaborate & effectiveness are the drivers of this key position. You will oversee US government reporting requirements, lead critical process transformation initiatives, and manage various internal and external audits. You will also develop and maintain a strong team environment and build strong competencies in the team.

Requirements

  • CPA or master's degree in accounting & finance
  • At least 7 + years of public accounting experience
  • At least 2 + years of managerial experience (staffing, performance management, task delegation, project delegation, work planning, salary reviews, etc.)
  • Technical Accounting Expertise
  • Must currently be an accounting manager or above
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced PC skills (emphasis on Excel and Power Point)
  • Experience in developing strong relationships with business partners

  • Tableau, python, R, alteryx
  • Experience in specialized ERP (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion)
