About The Position

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and manage a small team in a Costpoint-driven GovCon environment. This individual will play a key role in leading the close, strengthening internal controls, and supporting organizational growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6–10 years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Strong Deltek Costpoint experience required
• Prior government contracting experience required
• Strong communication and leadership skills required

Nice To Haves

• CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and project accounting
• Review and manage month-end close and financial reporting
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and GovCon requirements (FAR, DCAA)
• Serve as primary contact for audits and external requests
• Lead process improvements and Costpoint best practices
