About The Position

Accounting Manager-Contract Entities and Accounts Payable Management Internal Candidate Application Deadline: May 8, 2026 Are you a Financial Accounting Manager who also loves the outdoors? As an Accounting Manager – Contract Entities and Accounts Payable Management with MidwayUSA, you will report to the Vice-President of Financial Services and will have the following responsibilities: Manage Full Cycle Accounting for Contract Service Entities (related party entities) Monthly financial statement preparation oversight Accounts Payable and Receivable Managing accounting and reporting for residential, commercial, and agricultural leases Fixed Asset accounting including acquisitions and dispositions Real estate and property taxes management Annual insurance renewals Tax administration including sales and use tax, annual 1099s, and coordination of annual tax return preparation with external CPA firm Manage Accounts Payable Management of a portion of MidwayUSA accounts payable processes including customer postage processes Credit card processing oversight Supervision of a two-to-three-person team reporting to this position Other Duties Support the annual budget process Support of year-end processes and annual audit preparation Cash forecasting Cost analysis in areas of responsibility Month-end journals and account reconciliations - preparation and review If you have a passion for Finance, Accounting, Business Operations, love to solve problems, and you are committed to Customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, join MidwayUSA-a company on a mission to be 'the best run, most respected business in America'! Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, an MBA, CPA or CMA highly recommended
  • 4-6 years management experience in: financial reporting, general ledger systems and analysis (Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus), fixed asset reporting (Asset Keeper Software a plus), internal and external compliance process requirements for audit and tax, budget planning and reporting, risk management and insurance processes, supervision and management of a high performing team
  • Demonstrated leadership characteristics including: Positive attitude, Agility, Accountability, Teamwork, Detail oriented, Honesty, Humility, Stewardship, and Motivation
