Accounting Manager - Accounts Payable

Manages the full spectrum of daily accounting (accounts payable) operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, and financial closings, while supporting timely and accurate monthly financial reporting for hotel and corporate functions in compliance with GAAP and industry standards. Ensures strong internal controls, consistent reporting structures, and adherence to company policies to protect financial integrity, while also identifying process improvements and assisting with audits and system implementations. The position involves leading and developing accounting staff, overseeing workloads to meet deadlines, providing training and guidance, and fostering a high-performing team environment, while maintaining effective relationships with external partners to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably within Accounting.
- 3 to 4 years previous work experience in an Accounting Department; minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
