We are looking for highly motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented interns to join our Audit team for the Summer 2027 Internship Season. Audit internships start after college students are back home, and we offer flexibility for hours regarding a student's summer schedule. Bowers Accountants & Advisors is not able to accommodate any type of Sponsorship.

Requirements

• Active enrollment and a major in Accounting, Business, or Finance
• Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting
• Interested in meeting the college requirement towards CPA eligibility
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• Junior standing or above is preferred

Responsibilities

• Familiarity and ability to learn accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
• Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality
• Become familiar with and effectively utilize software for Auditing
• Communicate status updates to managers/supervisors as needed
• Approach daily responsibilities with the Bowers’ mission and client-centric philosophy in mind.
• Learn the audit process: information gathering, client follow-up, preparation, and completion.
• Develop the ability to identify, understand, and address accounting issues.
• Strengthen written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues
• Participate in firm outings and activities as able.
