About The Position

Christianson’s Accounting Internship offers customized training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. Interns work with a broad range of clients in industries including renewable energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and construction. The firm provides services such as compliance, consulting, accounting system solutions, grant writing, biofuels benchmarking, accounting and attestation, and tax preparation. During the internship, interns are exposed to tax return preparation and accounting and attestation projects across a variety of industries. They work alongside Partners, clients, and peers, develop new skills, participate in office and community activities, and build professional relationships. This is an in-person, paid internship with wages starting at $22.00 per hour. Recruitment is ongoing and continuous; there may not be an immediate vacancy.

Requirements

Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
Minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong technical aptitude and skillset.
Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment.
