About The Position

Wipfli is hiring an Audit Intern for Spring 2028. The role requires an in-person work arrangement, with full-time interns regularly working five days a week in a Wipfli office or at client sites. Client locations may vary locally, regionally, or nationally depending on industry alignment, and scheduled client and office meetings require in-person attendance. Interns apply their educational knowledge and experience to accounting-related work and support client engagements. Audit-specific work includes performing audit, review, and compliance testing procedures under firm and professional standards and as directed by engagement leaders. Interns communicate about open items and testing issues, prepare or review financial statements and related engagement materials, and build technical competency in GAAP relevant to their assigned product line. The internship offers exposure to professionals across the firm, hands-on audit work and related software, a variety of clients and industries, and opportunities to develop business-advisory, administrative, professional, and interpersonal skills. Interns contribute independently and as part of a team.
