Accounting Internship - Summer 2027
About The Position
RF-SMART's Summer Internship Program gives you real work, real responsibility, and direct access to leaders across the organization. This is a 12-week, full-time experience—not a resume line item, but a launchpad. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our dynamic finance team. As an accounting intern you'll gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance. You will work closely with the Accounting team to support day-to-day operations and gain exposure to best practices in corporate accounting.
Requirements
- Interest in process improvement
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Currently enrolled in a degree program at the time of the internship
- Considered a Junior or Senior by credit hours
- Available to work 40 hours per week in-office
- Eligible to work in the United States for any employer without future sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Assist with and Utilize: The preparation and review of invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Sending invoices to customers
- Billing and accounting software to input, retrieve and analyze information
- Perform additional duties and tasks as required
- Grow and Connect: Collaborate directly with experienced Agile delivery professionals and receive regular coaching and feedback

- Develop presentation skills, communication, and professional presence through workshops and intentional projects to showcase your learned skills and abilities
- Collaborate on a group innovation project that spans the full 12 weeks
