About The Position

SUMMARY Charlesbridge, MHC is seeking an in-office part-time (up to 30 hours per week) Accounting Intern from June 8th through the end of August 2026. The Accounting Intern would serve to assist the accounting team in a variety of ways while obtaining relevant work experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with Accounting tasks and projects Complete FR2900 weekly reporting. Perform routine daily tasks (ACBB sweep, SSB fed recon, Moneygram payee review). Complete GL Reconciliations. Investigate reconciling items and variances in general ledger accounts. Assist with Accounts Payable tasks and projects Assist in turning vendors from check to ACH. Assist in obtaining updated W-9s. Assist with Finance tasks and projects Assist with monthly budget to actual variance analysis and financial reporting process. Assist with updating and maintaining financial models including forecast and trend analysis. Consider this description to be the foundation of your job, not its boundaries. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED required, pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Good oral and written communication skills Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Ability to meet deadlines and highly organized. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Pay Range Disclosure The pay range for this position is $17.95 to $19.75 per hour and is the lowest to highest rate Charlesbridge in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
