About The Position

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is seeking an Accounting Intern to join their team. This role is ideal for a college student pursuing an accounting degree who is detailed, process-oriented, and eager to gain practical experience in a corporate accounting setting. The intern will assist with accounting processes, systems, and questions, working collaboratively with the Accounting Department, primarily the Accounts Payable Team.

Responsibilities

• Validating coding and entering invoices
• Processing vendor payments
• Processing invoices and reviewing accuracy of invoice coding to ensure quality, consistent and complete information is posted to the accounting system with adherence to company policies
• Working with RLC Community Managers to solve invoice and vendor issues
• Reviewing vendor statements for financial statement completeness
• Processing vendor payments
• Completing and reconciling credit card transactions
• Working in teams to process bi-monthly check requests and monthly food cost reconciliations
• Opportunities to be exposed to additional accounting work
