About The Position

We are offering a paid internship position in Reno, NV to UNR Business College students as follows:

Selected candidate will gain an introductory understanding of the operations of an insurance brokerage company. They will then focus on the accounting department to learn day-to-day processes, become familiar with the various roles within the department, and provide support with administrative tasks, projects, and other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or must be working toward Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Excellent relationship building skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with administrative tasks, projects, and other duties as needed within the accounting department.
• Learn day-to-day processes within the accounting department.
• Become familiar with the various roles within the accounting department.
