This internship is for the next generation of CAD Detailers to join the Pre-Construction Division. The intern will assist mechanical pipe and sheet metal coordinators and detailers with project-related activities, from start to finish. All design work will be completed using Revit and AutoCAD (Fabrication MEP) software. The internship aims to develop professional etiquette, industry communication skills, and experience with general piping, building construction, and software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Naviswork. This position is open to current 3rd and 4th-year students (4-year program) or 4th and 5th-year students (5-year program) and is an in-person opportunity at the Randolph office.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist in general piping layout and coordination with other trades in both office and field settings
• Generate various drawings, including but not limited to install drawings, spool maps, hanger drawings and equipment layout
• Attend project coordination meetings
• Provide support to field personnel and project management groups
