Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Interest in cost accounting, financial analysis, or manufacturing operations
- Exposure to Excel functions (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Familiarity with financial or ERP systems (a plus, not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries
- Support financial reporting and analysis, including variance analysis and reporting preparation
- Help maintain and analyze inventory and cost accounting data
- Assist in tracking purchase price variances and cost trends
- Support internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Participate in data analysis and reporting using Excel and financial systems
- Assist with documentation and organization of financial records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and supply chain
- Support additional accounting and finance projects as assigned
