About The Position
Estes Construction is seeking driven college students for an Accounting Intern position focused on commercial construction. The internship offers a hands-on learning experience within a people-focused culture that emphasizes growth, development, collaboration, safety, and quality.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, or related program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willing to learn, ask questions, and contribute meaningfully.
- Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work on-site.
- Valid Driver’s License and Satisfactory Driving Record.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Commitment from May – August (Summer 2027).
Responsibilities
- Assist the finance team, project managers, pre-construction managers, superintendents, and project coordinators while learning how real-world decisions impact outcomes.
- Participate in site visits and safety checks under supervision.
- Assist with documentation tracking and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with interns and leaders across departments.
- Participate in company initiatives, committees, and continuing education.
