About The Position

PACCAR’s Kenworth Division is seeking highly motivated Accounting Interns for its Internship Program in Kirkland or Renton, Washington. Interns gain professional accounting experience at an industry-leading manufacturing company through hands-on work, learning from industry professionals, working directly with Senior Managers and Controllers, and developing mentoring relationships with experienced accountants. Internships are scheduled to begin in May or June 2027.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Resourcefulness and self-starting ability.
• Strong professionalism.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• A sense of urgency.
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
• Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley auditing, record retention analysis, and accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Provide financial analysis to support company decisions.
• Participate in projects designed to make company operations more effective and efficient.
• Assist with Physical Inventory and Build Station audits.
• Participate in special projects as necessary.
