About The Position

The Accounting Intern will support the Accounting team in day-to-day operations, gaining hands-on experience in financial processes such as general ledger reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and financial reporting. This internship is designed to provide exposure to corporate accounting practices and inter-company procedures while developing professional skills in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Completed coursework in financial accounting and managerial accounting
Junior or Senior standing in a college accounting program
Previous internship or part-time experience in an accounting or finance role
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., JD Edwards, QuickBooks, Excel)
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Good organizational and time management skills
Eagerness to learn and take initiative

Responsibilities

Assist with general ledger and account reconciliations
Support the preparation of journal entries and basic financial reports
Help with internal documentation and audit preparation
Participate in month-end close activities under supervision
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by documenting workflows and identifying efficiencies
Collaborate with other departments and operating units to ensure accurate financial data collection
Assist in tracking inter-company transactions and resolving discrepancies
Support the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
