Paid Accounting Internship — Hybrid/Remote — Summer/Fall 2026
About The Position
Rising Tide Interactive is seeking an Accounting Intern for our paid Summer/Fall Internship Program in our Washington, DC office. This internship offers the opportunity to support RTI’s financial operations, contributing to the top-notch support provided to Democratic campaigns, committees, PACs, and nonprofits. The program includes training and mentoring opportunities designed to foster learning. The internship is paid at $17.95/hour and is part-time, requiring up to 10 hours per week. Internships typically run from July 6th to November 24th, with flexibility in start and end dates. The position is based in Washington, DC, and will operate on a hybrid schedule, with two days in the office and three days remote. A laptop will be provided. Responsibilities
- Assist with financial recordkeeping
- Maintain client accounts excel tracker and other accounting logs
- Assist with monthly reimbursement process
- View payments made via online banking portal and mark invoices paid in accounting software
- Assist with credit card and account reconciliations
- Prepare & send invoices
- Other duties as needed
