About The Position

We are seeking highly motivated emerging talent to participate in a 10-week immersive internship program from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027. This program offers university students hands-on experience through project-based work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Throughout the program, Interns will have exposure to mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities. The Finance intern will support Voyager Technologies at one of the following locations: Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA. The Finance/Accounting Intern will support the team with a variety of financial and accounting activities, with opportunities to contribute to projects focused on reporting, analysis, forecasting, process improvement, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university, preferably pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or related business functions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to learn new processes, systems, and tools.
  • Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff, as well as for the final presentation at program completion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship, coursework, academic project, or other relevant experience in finance, accounting, business, or data analysis.
  • Experience working with Excel or other tools used to organize, analyze, or present data.
  • Interest in process improvement, automation, reporting, or financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities.
  • Support the preparation, organization, and analysis of financial data and reports.
  • Participate in assigned projects that support team and business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and streamline routine activities.
  • Participate in team meetings, reviews, training sessions, and other learning opportunities.
  • Support day-to-day activities within the team as needed.
  • Complete assigned deliverables accurately and within established timelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners as appropriate.
