About The Position

The Calvin University School of Business (CUSB) is seeking a full-time tenure-track faculty member in accounting to begin July 1, 2027. This position is one of two accounting roles currently being hired. The university is looking for candidates who are dedicated to integrating their Christian faith with their academic field. The role involves teaching at the undergraduate and/or master's level, conducting relevant research and publication, and serving the school and university community. Calvin University is a top-ranked national university committed to Christian scholarship and equipping students for renewal in the world. Requirements

• Hold a PhD or other terminal degree in accounting. ABD candidates and candidates with a master’s degree and a minimum of five years of accounting experience will also be considered.
• Demonstrate excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or master’s level.
• Have an active stream of relevant research and publication.
• Affirm commitment to the educational mission of Calvin University as a Christian liberal arts university in the Reformed tradition, affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church.
• Demonstrated awareness and commitment to effectively establishing relationships and positive communication across multiple dimensions of diversity including, but not limited to, race, gender, physical limitations, class, or religious perspectives.

• Teach 24 semester hours per academic year.
