About The Position

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate day-to-day financial records. This role ensures that the books are clean and organized to enable management to make informed decisions, and helps provide employees with a smooth, compliant experience from hiring through payroll.

Requirements

  • 2+ years bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Solid Excel / spreadsheet skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized, reliable, and deadline-driven
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial and employee information confidentially
  • Comfortable working with multiple bank accounts / entities (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Record all financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses)
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts payable & receivable management
  • Invoicing and credit control follow-up
  • Sales tax
  • Month-end close and basic management reports
  • Maintain general ledger and supporting schedules
