About The Position

IMMEDIATE JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR REPRESENTATIVE IN OUR TREASURY DEPARTMENT. OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR ONE OF THE LARGEST INSURANCE PROVIDERS IN THE AREA. FULL TIME POSITION WITH ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT. MONDAY - FRIDAY 8AM - 430PM. WHITE PLAINS, NY (IN OFFICE ONLY). $60,000/YEAR.

Requirements

• 2 years of banking or treasury experience
• Associates or bachelors degree in Accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances, reconciling accounts, and ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Process electronic cash receipts and disbursements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation for all treasury transactions.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting by gathering financial data, updating projections, and identifying variances to support effective liquidity planning.
• Posting financial transactions using appropriate computer software
• Receiving and recording vouchers, cash and checks
• Producing a variety of financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets
• Checking for accuracy in reports, figures and postings
• Maintain banking relationships
