We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our accounting and operations teams by ensuring accurate entry, reconciliation, and maintenance of financial and job cost data. What You'll Do In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting processes that keep projects and financial records accurate and up to date. Responsibilities include: Entering vendor invoices and reconciling vendor statements Processing employee time records to support payroll accuracy Recording credit card receipts and reconciling statements Entering inventory adjustments and material cost transactions Maintaining organized digital and physical accounting documentation Supporting purchase requisitions and materials cost tracking Assisting with vendor rebates and monthly accounting activities Communicating with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies Supporting accurate job cost tracking and financial reporting Performing general accounting and clerical support tasks for the department Your work will directly support project cost accuracy, vendor payments, and financial reporting that leadership relies on to manage construction operations. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-focused, and comfortable working with accounting data and systems in a construction setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Organized and dependable work style
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable experience
  • Construction or job-cost accounting experience
  • Experience working with vendors or inventory records
