We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Team. This position plays an important role in keeping our day-to-day financial operations accurate, organized, and moving efficiently. You will work closely with other members of the Accounting Team to process transactions, reconcile accounts, pay vendors, and ensure financial records and supporting documentation are complete and accurate. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational bookkeeping or accounting experience who enjoys working with numbers, values accuracy, and wants to continue developing their accounting skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong numerical aptitude
  • Highly detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
  • Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Dependable and consistent in completing assigned work
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team
  • Able to recognize discrepancies and ask questions when something doesn't look right
  • Professional and able to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of QuickBooks experience
  • Working knowledge of debits and credits
  • 10-key proficiency
  • Previous experience with account reconciliation, accounts payable, or transaction processing

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices and vendor payments accurately and on time
  • Categorize and record financial transactions
  • Review and audit accounts for accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile accounts and verify supporting documentation
  • Process wire transfers and other financial transactions
  • Maintain organized and accurate accounting records
  • Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues
  • Protect confidential financial and business information
  • Provide administrative and accounting support to the Accounting Team
  • Assist with additional accounting projects and responsibilities as needed
