About The Position

The Fixed Assets Clerk position will be responsible for assisting the Fixed Assets Supervisor in multiple areas related to Capital Equipment, CIP’s and Maintenance reports and records. This position will also assist with daily receiving transactions for Masonry and Aggregate Departments.

Requirements

An Accounting Associate Degree in Applied Science or minimum five years’ accounting experience required.
Advanced PC skills with proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook required.
Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to meet specific deadlines.
Able to work in a high volume, transaction driven environment.
Good Analytical skills, able to make sound decisions utilizing the data at hand.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude that fosters effective relationships.
Proficient use of 10-Key.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provides support to the Fixed Assets Supervisor.
Supporting Great Plains Resale inventory by recording receiving transactions for assigned plants into the GP system.
Checking and coding all resale invoices for accuracy and prepping for payment.
Research and resolve inventory invoice discrepancies.
Monthly Resale Reconciliations between GL and GP HITB.
Monthly distribution of Maintenance & Operating Reports to plant managers.
Monthly CIP reporting and distribution.
Monthly Reporting for rolling stock.
Assists with Yearly Tag Renewals.
Parts inventory and shop order reconciliations
Working with other employees to answer questions and solve issues.
Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location.
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
