About The Position

The Accounting Clerk position performs basic and routine accounting functions. The Contract Coordinator is responsible for accurately checking for completeness and compliance to follow internal and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Accounting dealership experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) required
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment
  • Operate 10-key calculator
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening
  • Authorization to work in the USA

Nice To Haves

  • DMS knowledge (CDK/ADP) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Organize paperwork in each deal and check for completeness and compliance
  • Tear down of files and communicate with managers for missing paperwork
  • Rebate and incentive verification
  • 8300 form submissions and audits
  • Support month-end close with review of general ledger accounts for missing or incorrect information
  • Payoff Used vehicles with lien holders
  • Floorplan payoffs
  • Ensure all paperwork is correct to send to lien holders and send contracts out
  • Stock in USED inventory
  • Maintain professional personal appearance.
  • Complete required training assigned through the company training portal.
  • Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
  • Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
  • Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
